Imaging services at Heritage Harbour duplicate many of those offered at Sarasota Memorial Hospital's main campus, but the Bradenton location is more convenient for many residents, parking is easy and its breast imaging services now feature Hologic SmartCurve technology, designed to fit a woman's natural breast shape for better comfort. The facility offers a certified technologist for each radiology service listed below as well as an on-site radiologist who can read the results.
The Bradenton facility also offers blood draws and general lab testing—most of which is completed on site. Lab service walk-ins are welcome, as long as they have a physician's order. To verify insurance coverage for these services, call your insurance provider. For Lab testing hours, please call.
The Health Care Center at Heritage Harbour offers physical therapy to treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general medical injuries and conditions. A special division of SMH's outpatient rehabilitation is devoted to the treatment and management of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders at this location. The comprehensive rehabilitation program includes Lee Silverman Big Treatment (LSVT) therapy, nationally recognized for its benefits in the improvement of mobility functions in patients with Parkinson’s. The facility's specially trained SMH therapists are dedicated to helping patients transition back to their normal lives through programs that are designed for their individual rehabilitative needs.
A physician’s order is required for rehabilitation services. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (941) 917-6379.
