G.I. Cancer Screening & Diagnostics
Nearly 250,000 people are diagnosed each year with gastrointestinal cancers — cancers of the esophagus, stomach, bile duct, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, intestines, colon, rectum (colorectal cancer) and anus. Our GI program is well-equipped to handle the diverse range of these malignancies.
From colonoscopies and genetic testing for hereditary cancers to high-resolution CT scans, screening tests help detect GI cancer when it's most treatable. Similar approaches are used for the diagnosis and staging of these diseases.
Using advanced imaging technology, our team of experienced radiology and interventional-radiology specialists can provide a detailed evaluation of each patient's condition. When cancer is detected, this technology helps enable our physicians to determine a precise treatment plan for the individual.

Is Screening Right for You?
Discuss digestive health screening options with your physician to determine whether you should get screened and which screenings are right for you. Options to ask about include a regular screening colonoscopy, genetic counseling and genetic testing for hereditary cancers.
If you experience a sudden, severe or chronic gastrointestinal issue that hasn't been previously diagnosed, don't wait. Get tested.
GI testing requires a physician’s order, but if you don’t have a physician, our HealthLine team will be happy to help you with a referral at 941-917-7777.
