The Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute, located on Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's main campus, provides the knowledge, expertise, and infrastructure needed to support a wide range of innovative drug, device, registry, and biospecimen trials. The Institute proudly conducts more than 160 active clinical research studies across diverse specialties, giving patients access to leading-edge care while advancing the future of medicine.
The Research Team at the Kolschowsky Institute supports investigators across a broad spectrum of trial operations, including tissue procurement and specimen acquisition, clinical trial coordination, biostatistical analysis, investigational pharmacology, grant support, and more. The Research Business Office assists with communications, budgeting, research marketing, and clinical trial operations to ensure efficiency and compliance. In addition, the Research Development Program provides mentorship and guidance for clinicians interested in pursuing investigator-initiated research projects, fostering innovation and advancing discovery.
