Sarasota Memorial's free Diabetes Support Group offers motivation, education and support to those managing diabetes. Recognized by the American Diabetes Association and led by certified diabetes educators, the meetings provide attendees with the tools they need to maintain optimum blood sugar control and prevent complications. The support group meets virtually on the first Thursday of every month (excluding July, August and September).
Support group is open to any person with Diabetes or those with family members who have Diabetes.
The support group is free and is led by a Diabetes Educator.
Education and open discussion format.
Guest speakers may be featured at some meetings.
