Newsweek Ranks Sarasota Memorial Among America’s Greatest Workplaces

SARASOTA, Fla. (June 26, 2024) – Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMH) was named on Newsweek’s national list of “America’s Greatest Workplaces 2024” this week.

Of the thousands of employers evaluated nationwide, SMH ranked among the top of the nation’s largest employers (5,000-plus employees) across 78 industries, based on performance metrics and survey topics covering compensation/benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.

Produced in partnership with Plant-A Insights, the second-annual ranking is one of America's largest independent employee studies, taking into consideration surveys of more than 250,000 U.S. employees, more than 1.5 million company reviews and analysis of publicly accessible data in 2022-2023.
